Ingredients

For the honey mustard glaze
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 cloves garlic small, finely grated
For the salmon
  • 4 salmon 6-ounce skin-on fillets, about 1 inch thick
  • 0.5 tsp kosher salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp canola oil for the air fryer basket

Equipment

  • 1 air fryer

Method

Make the honey mustard glaze
  1. Whisk the Dijon mustard, honey, lemon juice, olive oil, and garlic in a small bowl until smooth.
Air fry the salmon
  1. Brush the air fryer basket lightly with the canola oil.
  2. Preheat the air fryer to 390°F for 3 minutes.
  3. Pat the salmon dry.
  4. Season the salmon with the salt and pepper.
  5. Brush the glaze evenly over the tops and sides of the salmon.
  6. Arrange the fillets skin-side down in a single layer in the basket, working in batches if needed.
  7. Air fry at 390°F for 7 to 10 minutes, until the thickest part reaches 145°F.

Notes

For even cooking, arrange the fillets in a single layer and work in batches if needed. Refrigerate leftovers for up to 3 days; cooked salmon can be frozen. For a different sweetener, use maple syrup instead of honey.
