Ingredients

  • 4 cups whole milk
  • 0.5 cup Biscoff cookie butter
  • 4 oz semisweet chocolate finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.13 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Equipment

  • 1 3-quart saucepan

Method

  1. In a 3-quart saucepan over medium heat, warm the milk until steaming and small bubbles form around the edges, 4 to 6 minutes; do not let it boil.
  2. Reduce the heat to low.
  3. Whisk in the Biscoff, chocolate, cocoa powder, and salt until melted and smooth, 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Remove the saucepan from the heat.
  5. Stir in the vanilla.
  6. Serve hot.

Notes

Whisk continuously as the chocolate melts for a smooth texture. Refrigerate leftovers for up to 3 days; freezing is not recommended. For a dairy-free variation, use oat milk and dairy-free semisweet chocolate.
