Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb Yukon Gold potatoes cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 0.75 tsp kosher salt
  • 0.5 tsp paprika
  • 0.25 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper

Equipment

  • 1 5- to 6-quart air fryer

Method

  1. Preheat a 5- to 6-quart air fryer to 400°F for 3 minutes.
  2. Pat the potatoes dry with a clean kitchen towel.
  3. Toss the potatoes with the olive oil, salt, paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper in a large bowl.
  4. Arrange the potatoes in a single layer in the air fryer basket, working in batches if needed.
  5. Cook at 400°F for 18 to 22 minutes, shaking the basket every 6 to 7 minutes, until browned and crisp outside and tender when pierced with a fork.

Notes

Pat the potatoes thoroughly dry for crispier results. Refrigerate leftovers for up to 4 days; freeze for up to 2 months. For a lower-sodium version, reduce the kosher salt to taste.
